On Tuesday, 9 September, the Boomerang network group welcomed Ash and Georgia, New and Emerging Community Liaison Officers from Victoria Police, who led an insightful workshop on Cybersecurity.

They spoke about:

• Recognising and avoiding online scams
• How to report suspicious activity
• Steps to protect yourself and your loved ones online

The session was followed by a delicious lunch prepared by Awatif, who runs the Multicultural Sudanese Centre Catering. Her warm hospitality and wonderful food were a highlight of the day.
