Build your skills for independent living and make social connections while learning to prepare fresh and healthy food. Working as part of a team, each week you will cook a main course and dessert and afterwards share the meal together.
Brush up your language, literacy, numeracy and employability in our friendly and supportive kitchen classroom! Learners attend one morning a week.

A Pathways program for people living with mental health issues that is designed to be an accessible and relevant first step back into mainstream adult education in the broader community. Learners enrol into a core program and meet weekly to develop employability skills in the context of:
- developing creative skills including singing, writing, poetry, art and magazine production
- developing speaking skills through listening to guest speakers and engaging in public speaking opportunities
- employment skills such as interview skills, applying for volunteer positions
- learning new IT skills
- personal and group event planning and management
Also includes excursions and site visits to organisations and initiatives such as social enterprise cafes and employment support services, and exploring volunteer opportunities.

A peer support program for people with a lived experience of mental illness.
Activities include:
- planning and management of events and outings
- sourcing and liaising with guest speakers
- supporting and socialising with peers in weekly sessions
- preparing and sharing food together

Farnham Street runs an art group for people with mental health issues to explore, discover and develop their creative potential using a range of artmaking materials and methods in a safe, fun and social environment!
Wednesdays 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Art Group facilitator: Delwyn Castellano
Location: Farnham Street
Fee: $50 per term
A weekly session promoting the benefits of healthy bodies and minds, with a focus on healthy eating, exercise and diabetes-prevention. Sessions will incorporate a group discussion, and a walk around the leafy local neighbourhood, followed by coffee.
